|
 |
Hey guys, been a while since I last posted.
I've been considering to be using unofficial Radeon drivers as the official ones are quite worthless, on various games the screen flickers like hell.. does anyone know where I might find the best drivers for Radeon cards?
I have a 3850X2 HD card if it helps.

Not sure if that is sarcasm but hehe anyhow..
Driver sweeper download from...
http://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)-download-1655.html
1) Uninstall your drivers as you normaly would with the add/remove programs in your OS..
2) Boot to safe mode in windows and run driver sweeper and select the checkbos saying ATI graphics drivers or to obvious one think it might be ATI display drivers.
3) click Analyze and you should get a list of ati left over driver files etc that you need to delete..
4) click remove button for those file or whatever its called again heheh (cant remember)
5) reboot into your OS in normal running mode and install ATI drivers of your choice..
Sometimes your OS will install generic drivers when it notices you have nothing installed for the card and is annoying although not critical..You can turn that off in vista, I cant remember how its done in xp if at all, but you could google "how to stop *xp or vista* installing generic drivers on boot up" and im sure you would find out how soon enough..
On a different note: alot of people tend to over install drivers and say they never had any problems doing it that way by normal uninstall and install again, but when your not sure if anything is porked with ur drivers I find its always best to go the driver sweeper route in safe mode just incase, and to relieve any concerns for problem solving..
cheers..

i have never had any problem with official ATI's drivers,my advice is to try your card in another pc,it could be overheating or your pc might have other hardware issues ?
btw is your pc overclocked ? .

None of these have problems with the 9.3 drivers here. You sure there isn't another factor to make problems?

yes sounds like a strange issue this one if its just certain games affected... If you can run games other than those listed for hours with no issues then one would always think its a driver/shader issue etc..
Im guessing you have tried to reinstal those 3 games or one of them at least again ?
Keep posting to let us know how it all goes in the end, gfx glitching info one can never get enough of.
