did you try a different video cable?

I had the same problem with one of my 360s that already had the x-clamp fix - so that might not help if you do it now.
From what I heard the problem seems to be with the GPU and it's very difficult to fix it.
I ended up trading my 360 plus 40 bucks for another new one with HDMI.
