So what is he coming from?

A dell system he got in 2004 w/ an intel P4, 1GB DDR, X300SE or some stupid shit.

800 USD? thats like 600 euros aint that expensive?
What are the HD & memory specs.

I could get the GPU/CPU/CASE for like 300/350.

well shipping was close to 100 due to it shipping from California to the midwest and the case isn't....light...

and for a computer build like this, 800 is fairly cheap considering I paid about 2K for all the shit on my computer when I got it

nice combo , but you could have picked the 790x version of the mobo which is the exact same one but without the onboard graphics , you would save 30 bucks Smile

he liked the idea of having a backup gfx in case he ever needed to RMA the card or something.

good choice , i wouldnt get any sort of raptor, they are very expensive.

any WD 640gb would be great speedwise

either blue edition or black edition.

ya, he ordered the 640 SATA II, can't wait till the shit is up and running.

Does anyone else have the antec 1200/900 and had the fan go tock tock tock?
