I've got the following:

Logitech Quickcam messenger with monitor support
a Logitech Headset with Mic (standard, dun remember the model

I normally use the webcam as microphone and plug the headset to the front panel of the PC..black n pink connectors (audio n mic)

The bad thing is that i can hear audio from the headset but my voice goes throu the Logitech Quickcam (as configured at the control panel's volume stuff) and not the headset's mic

The other bad thing is that FRAPS (latest version) receives the game audio very low while recording...and no matter the settings it hears low or nothing

Any help please?

Well, in XP you can go to the control panel, sounds and audio devices, in the Voice tab you can select the preferred voice recording device.

Or maybe I didn't understand your post Sad

Example, this is a vid made by me usin' FRAPS,Half Size and 30FPS

You can barely hear the in-game video but hear a "noise" like a bee...or not.

I could put screenshots of FRAPS and Soundmax's settings (ASUS P5K Deluxe board sound device thingy) and its variables.

I want the recording to sound like this somehow:

Tryin' to evade those huge loud sounds thou..
