Hi, I have a problem with my lite on drive.
My 360 is working great when I play original games on it. The disc is spinning in 12x. My dvd drive starts acting weird when I'm playing backup games on it.
It starts with 8x and after 5 seconds it's running at 12x. The problem is when it stops reading the disc and makes a grinding noice for about 10 seconds and start spinning the disc at 4x. It's changing from 4x - 8x - 12x and everytime it changes the speed it makes a grinding noice. I sounds like it's scratching the disc.
I'm using iXtreme 1.5 and I dont know what to do. I know I can install the games to the harddrive but there's only room for 1 more game. It's very annoying.

it's not the games. Using verbatim and burning in 2.4x
My HDD is 60gb
As I said it's only with backup games and not with original games. I dont understand that.

I flashed it with ixtreme 1.51 and it's still the same problem.

I changed dvd drive. Still got the damn problem and I still get the reading disc error

If you've changed the drive and it's still doing it ... then the only alternative IS the disks themselves.

I've tried the discs in other xbox 360s and they are working great.

Hold up. So;
1. Your games, only backups by your own admission, won't load.
2. You've changed the drive and they STILL won't load.
3. The same games, burned on the same disks, work in other machines fine?
Wow. It sounds like you're royally fucked, mate. Either that or you just didn't flash the drive properly (and the other 360s you've tried the games on have obviously been flashed correctly)
