hi all , today i bought 2x2gb ram corsair , ok i put them on pc and them when i wanted to start it didn't boot i get this message on monitor " monitor is in power safe mod to activate monitor use computer " . k i remove one of the kit and started with just 1 and i changed some freq in bios thought now will boot with both kits well didn't ... the thing is before this was no problem with my old ram's 2x1gb corsair. for 2 hours i' tryed to get this working i fail'd. my motherboard have only 2 slots can be this the problem ? i can't say this cause the old ram kits worked lol . here is my current motherboard asus m2n-mx se click me without that integrate gfx ofc

any advices what can i do to get ram working ? i'm going crazy Confused Sad and sorry for my eng Very Happy

it says on page 13 of the manual that each slot only supports upto 1gb ram and the board only supports 2gb ram in total

I recommend you look for a bit better motherboard that supports more. You can find some cheap ones that will suit your needs.

coming with a question again .. didn't want to open another thread so here we goes , u have my motherboard in first post so i wanna buy a gf9800gtx soon the question is will work properly ? from what i've read in some forums pcie works with gfx that are with pcie 2.0 so i can buy it or no ? Very Happy
