so, as i understand the patch doest update razor1911's version
is there any way to get it installed? as there's no cracked version of patch out, too

Try it already....the worst thing that can happen (as far as I know) is that you will have to reinstall.
the patch changes the exe to 1.0.1.0

Razor's crack doesn't use the standard GTAIV.exe -- it's a loader and comes from LaunchGTAIV.exe. It works perfectly with the patch, just copy back the original files first.

Ya I tried applying the patch with the original files in tact and I got a fatal launch error file missing, when I overwrote the updated new exe launcher with the razor launcher. If you try launching the game without the applied razor launcher you run across the need cd securerom warning. I had to reinstall the game to get it to work again. So no luck at this point, hopefully razor or another team will release a new fixed exe crack for the new patch.

You had to reinstall the game? Then you broke it yourself.
As has already been said; Razor's loader works PERFECTLY with the GTA4 patch.

put original files on the folder ( get'em or reinstall )
install patch
only copy GTAlauncher & 1911.dll from the razor crack don't copy GTA IV
it'll work

I tried installing the new 1.030 patch for GTA 4 and I used the razor 1911 game launcher the same way I did with the last patch and I get a file missing critical error message. I reinstalled the game, updated the game to the new 1.030 version then copied the GTAlauncher & 1911.dll from the razor crack into the install directory and I still get the critical error message. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

just apply the live removal patch
here;

just extract xlive.dll to the game folder
see readme on how to deal with your savegames
also, multiplayer won't work with this

kwtf, shole your suggestion failed
i installed gta, then patch 1.3, then copied that xlive.dll from xliveless rar. running through LaunchGTAIV.exe it gives me this shit:

then i tried to copy razor's content over, and still gives it
edit: tried with rzr update 1.2.0 crack; running through launchgtaiv.exe it gives me this razor logo and prompts up the cmd window, but after that nothing else happens. no process is running under processes also

How I managed to get it working:
Install game
Apply Razor crack
Install patch through Live
Copy xliveless content to game dir
Run LaunchGTA.exe and it all works.

Install GTA4 with all stupid shit, install patch#3, put xlive dll, apply the crack and use the win2000 compitability. Thats what I do.

I tried running the game with the #3 patch and with xlive.dll in my game directory and all I got was the error message "5297 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll' I also tried running the win 2000 compatibility mode and I received the same error message. I'm still just playing the game with the #2 patch until this works properly.

I downloaded xliveless_0.93 off gtaforums.com But if there is a better place to download the latest version that would help. I did not install the xlive_d.dll file becuase that is just for the debugging log, I just want to get the game running.

Cool, I finally got it to work with the xliveless .95 and the 1.0.3.0 patch. I thank you all for the help just one last question. I know were the new saved files are located %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\, I was just wondering if anyone knows were the old save files are located before I installed xliveless. Thanks again
