Cold normally doesn't last longer than one week, you might have something bacterial and need antibiotics.

You probably have sinusitus, and I have it too, keep spouting up yellow goobers, every time I blow my nose its yellow goobers:( I am on antibiotics now cuz the pain is killing me, also am lightheaded, dizzy, feel very tired, this shit is worse than the flue. And the fun part of it all is that it can drop down to your lungs and turn into bronchite, which it did for me, so you have the best of both worlds, imagine how sick I am feeling now. But I am slightly better, not much, but slightly.

My heart goes out to ya, and get well soon mate, this sucks indeed!!!

Yea...could be. I think I went to work to early. Or That I got it again from my wife or something. That I smoke (cigs) doesn't help for sure.

My Son got antibiotics, but he has cold+bad ear infection.

Best thing to do is to drink lots of hot beverages, suck on antiseptic lozenges and take Clarithromycin (Klacid) antibiotic if you have a secondary infection.

This year's cold is extremely nasty Wink

Under the wool, Ha!!! I choose synthetic fabrics like polar fleece. No wonder why you get sick.

Stay away from dairy & bread. Keep your food intake to high C juice & rich in minerals soups, garlic, ginger ect. Not creamy soups obviously Wink I personally live with a hot drinks like lemon or soup during the day & neat spirits in the evening when I have a cold. A good fry up can kick your immune system in gear too or a big stake dinner. If your up to it a heavy bout of exercise can kick your immune system in gear too.

@Cox

I feel ya man. Been sick since Wednesday last week, bad head cold.
All I could do is sleep.

Sunday I felt better and today I feel alot better. Not completely healed, but not as bad. Just congested.

Its the holiday shopping. I got sick cuz I went to the mall to shop and picked up something. And when I get the flu/cold, it doesnt come out in my stomach or anything. Its always a head cold. In varying degrees.

Getting better, went to work this week. Still coughing some but for sure getting there. Finally now when I wake up, I don't have a sandpaper dry mouth anymore. Still not 100%, but I see the end of the tunnel. Same goes for the rest of the fam, the Mrs still coughs etc, and my Son went back to the doc's today and got a clean bill.

HAHA! yep, sounds like a good remedy...although the 46" Sony from last Xmas will have to do for now. Got a 30" Dell for the PC this year as a "early" Xmas gift for myself...so, well...I am good Wink.

haha ya man. I got myself a nice 52er in my basement. My tv in my room is 42, my tv in the living room is...30 something and the tv in my washroom (gotta watch tv while soaking in the bathtub) is just a reg 14 inch tv and I have one of those water proof stereos (those small ones) in the shower so I can listen to tunes if I want (great for fucking in the shower Very Happy). Oh, and the tv in my kitchen is a reg tv, my old one, 25 inch flat screen (not HD tho).

What can I say, tv is my thing Smile
