enough wattage to rumble my room, enough to satisfy just about anyone

but ya, if you have 300 bucks to spend on speakers sure, z-5500

G51 is clear, has a good punch and is half the price

Personally, I would stick with logitech as far as PC speakers go.

Have G51 myself, can't really complain as I have to wear my Razor Barracuda's most of the time due to the Mrs .

But if you want KICK ASS speakers, look in to TEUFEL...if you can get hold of them where you live that is.

+1 for Z-5500. Most powerful, dynamic, feature-rich, hassle-free set of computer speakers ya can find..

And yeah, creative sucks for speakers.. logitech is about the only choice, unless you go way high end, ie $$$$$

if you buy from creative you might as well commit suicide. Worst company to ever support on PC's. I hate them so much.

My kid brother just bought the z-5500. Pretty good for a mashed up PC speaker set. A little loose in the subwoofer, but hey it's plastic and cheap.

8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I can also sing praises of the Z-5500's.
Especially if it isn't a really large room.

Laughing

Z-5500 are great for Your typical gaming needs, but they are definetly far from being best computer speakers. If one actualy is looking for a decent quality, not having surround and a little earthquake at home, then all these plastic producing companies are to be avoided.

if you're looking for good quality then you're not really looking for computer speakers, are you? Wink

Haha precisely. You can always custom make wooden wonders for 70,000-100,000$ as well, but that's a little beside the point for PC speakers. Razz
