writers block...

Its not something you can solve by just sitting around and waitng for inspiration. Inspiration just comes over you from things you experience each day and from what mood you are in and more...
I guess its propably for school or something so its not really writers block. Its because you have to do it! writers block is more something you do for yourself (meaning that it is not obligated, nobody is gonna give marks) and you run out of inspiration

what is it you have to write?

a good way to overcome writers block is to write down something like a mind-map. Just the stuff you know you want to use in the text and then relate it to the other stuff you want to write. Like brainstorming your ideas and then make arrow-connections between them to see how they fit together. Often you can shoe-string em into a text afterwards just by doing that.

spec script Sad Having a hard time developing a twist. At first I had it revealed at the begining so it was all about the struggle the person has to endure through a lifetime, but now it's at the end because the producer said it's about the twist and shit... Sad so I have to re-write everything so the twist occurs at the end, so you can't really show the person struggling, just developing a life and then at the end once the credits roll, you imagine how the person will struggle. Sad Crying or Very sad

That is good advice, but it doesn't work for everyone (and you won't know if it works for you until you try Smile). For some people it's really best to just have a vague idea - the basic outline - instead of a more detailed plan as that would just crush their inspiration.

I wrote more shit in my life then is good for me, I never have writers block, I write about just about everything, from loneliness to love to respect, to life stories to people skills to god you name it and I wrote about it, most of my essays are so long most people fall asleep after a while, but I prefer my blogs which are clear and concise and just long enough to keep people's interest. My brain works in this weird way where I can see a story unfolding before I have even started it, then all it takes is one night, I lay in my bed and its poof and I have my story fully written down in my mind like a photographic image that just needs copying. Sometimes people even ask me, write about me, and I will write about who they are and how I see them, and to my amazement I am allways 90% correct, regardless whether I have known these people for only 3 days or longer. What I'm trying to say, writing is a skill, if it comes hard to you, then you'r just not cut out for it and you probably have better skills(in your case, smoking pot and filling your stomach with liquor).

Cheerio,

Los Pfiemelos

lol naw, decided not to smoke weed come xmas eve and xmas. I found a recipe for this tasty as buttered rum drink (there's a name for it, cant remember). I made a small amount of it and it tastes BOMB!

So xmas eve Im gunna make enough for 10 glasses (atleast) and get drunk Smile Havent been drunk in a long time.
I mean, I used to be a huge pothead (as some old members can attest to) but Ive lost the taste for it man. Its just not my thing anymore. Same with all drugs.

And I rarely drink. But when I found this recipe in one of my sister in laws magazine's, it just sounded so yummy so I made a glass worth and it tastes so fuckin good. And you cant taste the booze (I dont like the taste of spirits anymore, used to but I indulged to much with the liquer...beer tho, love the taste of a nice ice cold beer on a hot summer day or while watching the Leafs on tv Smile ).

So this weekend gunna buy a bunch of all the ingrediants and xmas eve evening, gunna whip up up a huge pots of some butter rum (again, cant remember the name of what its called).
Plus I'll have my uncles homemade eggnog (you know, with booze) and my store bought, booze free eggnog and Im set Smile

buttered rum? you mean you drink butter? Neutral
i only drank butter boiled with pot. and it tasted horrid.

but if it takes the taste and smell away from liquor, i'd be willing to give it a try. besides tequila and whisky i can't drink much else, because i can't take the smell.

let's see that recipe, then Smile

naw, its not buttered rum...there's a name for it...Hot Tautie(sp?) or some shit like that. It involves creamed butter...its not like you throw a tub of butter in a pot, add the rum and boil it up. You use however much (depending on how many glasses you want) and the recipe I have you add um....cinnamon, vanilla, some kinda herb (basil i think, not sure, recipe is upstairs and im not moving), nutmeg and some other stuff.
The only reason its called buttered rum is because there is butter in it and SOME ppl really do throw a ton of butter and rum into a pot and boil it and drink it (which is nasty).

But the recipe I got was from my sister in law's magazine which is a chick mag (not a drink for just women tho). So you know its not gunna be really fattening (i take it creamed butter is fattening) and its gunna taste delicious.
Tbh, I always get recipes for things like that from chick mags. They seem to be best. Cuz Ive tried male mag recipe's and they focus more on tons of alcohol and not taste. Women care about taste and indulgence and such things ya know?

But when I make a big pot xmas eve day of the buttered rum (its also a traditional drink in NA, like eggnog), my sister in law is gunna help/show/make it for me. Cuz I followed the recipe when I made it on saturday ( was sick and thought it'd make me feel better, which it did, had a head cold) and it was enough for one glass. But translating those measurements into a large scale version is beyond me. Baking is really not my thing.

I dont know how to cook/bake etc those kinda things (Im more a steak, chicken etc kinda guy and vegetables too). Like ask me to bake a cake and fuck, its like developing a quantum computer to me ya know, impossible.

But my sister in law, even tho i dislike her alot, she can cook things like that (pasteries and cakes and muffins etc...but she cant cook reg food, go figure...I'd never eat a thanksgiving dinner she made...did it once and I swear, blandest shit ive ever eaten dude...i like spice in my food). So she's gunna cook me a pot of it and I'll have enough for all of xmas eve (night and day) and xmas and boxing day.
And the one I made, you couldnt taste the booze, it tasted like....i dunno exactly, but it tasted like heaven. Best drink ive ever had.

Try and find a recipe for it on some womans cook site (hell, even martha stewart) and try it out. The recipe i got came from the mag Chatelane (sp?)...I dunno if its Canadian, NA or a Global mag. But im sure you can find a woman based recipe on the net.
Just dont use a man's recipe....like i said, they focus more on the booze than on taste. Well, unless you like spirits/rum....i used to...but i HATE liquer now. If I taste in a drink, I get sick (the smell). The only liquer drink I will drink is a ceasar (cant taste the vodka) or a whiskey sour (again, cant taste the liquer, least i cant).
I'll drink any liquer drink as long as I cant taste the liquer....like i said, the smell makes me nausous. Drank to much Rye, Vodka and Gin when I was a kid. Tho, I dont mind a fine Brandy or a fine Cognac. Doesnt have that putrid, nasty taste to it. Same goes for wine. I can only drink fine wine....like if I buy wine, min i spend is 200 bucks.
Thats why whenever my female friends have a dinner party, im the man of the hour cuz other guys show up with 20-40 buck wine and I show up with a nice 200+ buck wine. Smile
Gotten me laid a few times to Smile And hell, I can afford it so its all good.
Tho, I dont know wine. Whenever I have to get a bottle, I get someone at the store to help me...you know, those ppl who know everything about wine and what wine you need to serve with whatever meal is being served.
I really should learn about wine.
