This fan on my mobo is fuckin noisy and i cant stand this shit anymore, so is it safe to unplug it or my mobo/CPU will die if i do it??

leave teh heatsink on it at least but make sure it's going to have adequate cooling on it. it over heats say bye bye to your MB

I wouldn't disconnect it. I think that's the heatsink for your northbridge/southbrdige and they put it there for a reason. What I would do if I were you is buy a aftermarket passive northbridge/southbrdige cooler or better yet ghetto rig a fan onto it that's no where near as noisy.

Which mb is that ? I had an ASUS with the nforce 4 ultra chipset and that same little fan made a lot of noise and after a few days it stopped working. Then after a few days the mb stopped working, lol.

Maybe it's dying.

P.S.: I used to be an ASUS fanboy, not anymore Sad

That's the South bridge Cooler DO NOT REMOVE IT!. If it's to loud, get a new one, but do not remove it!, it could seriously fuke up your board.

an aftermarket cooler will cost next to nothing.

Kommando, if this isn't some extremely high end motherboard, you could replace it with a fanless heatsink, purchasable in various hardware stores. There are various sizes, so make sure to get one that is designed for your motherboard.
