Yep, i've been using atraweb on unlimited (works out about £12 a month?) and it's great. Massive retention, brilliant speeds, there really is no longer a need to pay the premium that Giganews charge.

just started using astra and I dig it. I've ran into some shit where I have to use par's but eh, who cares.

Giganews is probaly the biggest and If im correct if a law suit ever hits them they won't give out emails and card numbers etc

i noticed a weird issue when using astraweb + newsleecher. when i update a group's headers, the connection stops and it doesn't finish update all the headers. I have to manually press the update button again for the process to complete. It has never happened with Giganews (same program version)....

Had the same problem with one of the beta versions of newsleecher.
