I didn't go to work today because I woke up a little late , took a shower and wore my clothes and bam too late and since I'm fucked up in the head I stayed home all day , now I regret it , fuck.

now you're named chinup for a reason , you really know how to chin up someone except you don't have to deal with the "where were you yesterday , there was bla bla bla" I know being emo is as useless as someone can get , I ain't emo , but it feels bad nonetheless but not really the kind that'll ruin your days , jut slight stuff my job is a pretty decent paying one , a lot have it way worse

yeah, it's easy to say that, but losing your job ain't that much fun, no matter which way you look at it. firemaster, start thinking up a good lie. missing a day of work is less worse than not calling in the same day to give an explanation..

I can understand his "revolutionary" thinking , but going against the system is futile and if I may say rather stupid and only hurts one's life and doesn't effect anything else the only way you can make a living in this age is to follow the system , it is rather better than previous ages anyway shit there goes me in my philosophical stuff again talking about thinking I better make up a good and reasonable lie and act it out so I don't get pwnd tomorrow

you can try "not following the system", but the fun you're having by doing that would be a bit spoiled if you have no money to pay the rent i've maxed out my ccard about half a year ago, by being between jobs for a month, and i still couldn't pay more than a quarter back. although i did upgrade my video card and play a ton of nwn2 while getting baked all day, so it wasn't all bad

Who said anything about going against the system. Seems a futile foot shooting exercise, hanging onto a job you don't enjoy & it isn't exactly going with teh system. The system = money. You don't have to screw yourself to make money. Seems to me you either screw the system or the system screws you. That's the beauty of the system. well who likes to work , we all want to be teenagers again not having to worry about finance
my job doesn't suck , It's not the "fat guy on tight desktop being bullied by his superiors" kinda job
doesn't have anything to do with desktops , and it's decently paying , so I can't complain
weekends are enough holidays + the whole summer and occasional stuff
