so I had a samsung 19" LCD 230B @ 1280x1024 and I traded it for 22" LCD 225BW



(no desk, I just moved and left the old one and need to get a new one, so fuck off about that bullshit ;o)

straight trade, but there is a bit of a bad spot on it ...

it's not really distracting .. and this monitor is better for WS HD stuff and x360 games ...


I cleaned it wth a soft cloth and a bit of alcohol too, it's pixel related not dirt or shit. so, good decision? I swapped with a monitor at my bro's work (auction company, this is from out-of-business so I can still trade back before the sale)

I wouldn't care/worry about it since it's at the lower portion of the screen. If it were smack dab in the middle I'd be annoyed but it looks like it's MOST noticeable against a bright background, so I'd be fine with it.

Free trade right?

^^ it is about 2-3" from the bottom directly in the middle of the screen. but goddamn HD movies are way better that much bigger.

and yeah, just sticking my old monitor in the lot (of 10 mixed monitors in size and shape) of shit they bought from some out of business company to replace this one. it seems more noticeable on even nforce blue than white or any movie/game... thing is that there is a couple more of them at the warehouse, all from the same company but one might be in better/worse shape than the other.

the monitor I traded actually had a bright spot on it (again, same source but a couple years ago) but it was in the task bar area. maybe I'm just noticing it more because it's new. still better than paying $200 for a 22" LG new I guess. free = ftw Smile
