Anyone got a list of UK Parts Suppliers?

I know of -

Scan
Novatech
Overclockers
Ebuyer

but is there any other suppliers that I can check out?

Thanks

how do you mean blow people up? Smile

I had a PSU Blow up on me from Novatech (Turned freshly built PC on and big bang and sparks and smoke) but apart from that everything else I get from them are fine and cheap. Eg the Price of there Logitech Z5500 speakers were cheaper than what used ones were going for on Ebay.

so far only-

Scan
Overclockers
Ebuyer

have the Azuntech Prelude in. Was going to go with the Xonar D2 but then thought fook it, put the extra £40 to it and get the Prelude, what do you think?

Aria and Scan are my main guys.
QuietPC for making thinks quiet
KustomPCs for the exotic occasionaly
Dabs are nice to do business with
lot of ebay traders do great deals (watch the feedback, avoid foreign shipping)
lot's of bargains on Amazon marketplace
Computer Markets seem to be everywhere (Bowlers especially good)

Thats exactly what I mean! Same thing happened to me, except I was holding the PSU at the time! I nearly shit myself, didn't stop sparking until we pulled the plug from the wall and the sparks were HUGE! Was a *very* scary experience.. When we tried to RMA the PSU they told us it was fine and sent it back.. We told them we wouldn't turn it on and demanded a new one, around a month later one arrived.. never bought from them again.

must have been just a dodgy customer service person you got, they sent me a refund as soon as the faulty one arrived back to them.

What PSU was it that you got? Mine was a Hiper Type-R

I've heard lots of horror stories about Overclockers, particularly regarding returns. There used to be a website dedicated to it, maybe it still exists..

I've used Ebuyer for years myself, mainly based on price. Have had no problem returning a few items, but have experienced a couple of problems with their choice of courier. Would still use them tho..

Seen a few negative comments regarding Dabs recently too

Never heard anything bad about Scan..

I've had goods just not turn up from ebuyer and have them claim they went onto the van. Ended up having to get the delivery company to confirm that only one small package was received. Got my money back on that one eventually, would never use them again. A friend of mine used to work in there goods depo and told me all sorts of horror stories about the place Neutral!
