Using ISC i was able to hook my xbox up to my computer and draw internet from it to connect to live instead of connecting it to a router in the other room. Was nice but that computer puts out a lot of heat and when both it and my xbox are running my room gets toasty as hell.
So now I try it with my laptop and semi works. I put the wireless on ISC and the xbox will get the IP addy and etc but when it gets to the MTU it fails. I tried using TCPoptimizer to set it to 1500 but the console still fails at it.
I tried bridging my ethernet and wireless adapter and that didn't seem to work either. My wirless and wired said it's connected but i couldnt browse the internet or connect to live
Anyone else got the answers to this?

none the less, this thread isn't aimed at me getting the adapter, it's aimed at getting it to work on my laptop

If I didn't drag this 15meter long cable down here, id get a wifi adapter this instant ^^
....or listen to Spiderman

cause doing things the difficult way = more knowledge and fun.
Doing it your way is like buying a box of legos and having your mom build it for you.
@phluxed: Thanks bud, does the latency really take a hit? If that's the case then eff it. I just unplugged the cable from my pc and put it in my xbox, using my laptop for everything else since it's quieter and doesn't put out the heat my gaming rig does.
