I just bought 4870 as a replacement for 8800GTX. But for some reason in some games (usually strategy games where you have to scroll the external camera) the scrolling is really jerky, there are no problems when units move etc, everything is silky smooth. It doesnt happens in games like Warhammer Online, Crysis, ME. This didnt happen with 8800 and the only thing I did was uninstalling nVidia drivers and putting 8.8Catalyst on. I didnt really play around with it much yet as Im at work but has anyone seen it or knows what could cause this issue please?
I didnt reinstall Windows for some time but since it didnt do this with 8800 it shouldnt really matter should it. I'll prolly try 8.7 drivers when I get home. The jerky scrolling really hurts my eyes
The rig is C2D 6750 2GB RAM on gigabyte mobo.
