For anyone buying, theres a company that uses the retail looking package to make you think your buying the OEM cables when their in fact not.

Noticed this one night when I was looking for them and was wondering why all the cheap ones were in hong kong...looked closer and discovered why......tricky bastards

Hong Kong, home of the world's biggest bootleggers. I doubt ANYTHING that comes out of there is legitimate.

sometimes they also state that they are living in the UK when the package comes out of HK xD

but that is not only with vga cable
