 i had a friend who told me he fell in love with this girl. he met her 5 times. was saying shit like she's the world to him. He loves her. Etc. Etc. Etc.
If you like her, ask her out. They broke up. They may still fuck around, so what? You can't say you love someone unless you know em tings about her. Ask your best friend if it's ok. On one hand you can lose a friendship of 15 years and have a girl you 'love' for like a year tops or ask her out, find out if she is who you think she is... make sure your friend knows... and still keep a friendship and find a chance to grow up. Then decide. Or find a diff girl. 
There's 55% of women out there. 45% of guys. Lotta women out there. Don't risk a friendship just to get your dick wet. Girls come and go....

I think what nuke is referring too is the link with a personal friend. When you are fiends with somebody who fucked your present girlfriend it can get ugly.
I suggest Farnus that you ask them both to bed. Not saying you have to suck dick or take it in the ass, just share her, that way no animosity will come up & your friend will respect you rather than hate you. She seems the passive kind & you can get close to her, take her out, fuck her alone, without getting messed up in any kind of romance that will become a wedge between you & your friend. That is unless your willing to give up your friend for a new girl friend who for all intents & purposes end up cheating on you.  love is one fucked up emotion. Great, impossible to top, but fucked up, all the same.
Learn to not hold on too tight to it. Let it be free & come & go @ its own pleasure, try & control it & your in for a world of hurt. Jealousy is always a mistake.

Your long lasting friendship should mean more to you than a relationship that would mostly likely fail if it were to ever launch anyways.

I love that Waldo is giving out love advice
I have recently come to terms with the fact I am in love with a woman I have known for around 8 years.
Also, my first real 'love' was taken from me by a good friend. It sucks being the dude. Just remember there are millions of fish in the sea and even putting the slightest bit of emotional strain on a friendship isn't ever worth it.

I just stopped believing that anyone under a certain age can talk about love. Love is a commitment. At 22, willing to sacrifice a lot is umm... unwise in my opinion. I know shit like that happens here and there but arrrgh... I'd steer clear of it Falling in love at 22... gettin married at like 26... ack! 50 years with the person Yeah eventually real love will develop...  I'd rather date and see if i wanna see that person again. Or vice versa
