I mean, seriously, it's a constant flamefest here. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been temp-banned on here .. and for what? Defending myself from arrogant pieces of shit that flame me at every given chance, that's what. It's usually the "older" members too, the ones with 1500+ posts -- who, it seems, are given free reign to say and do whatever they want - with absolute impunity from the moderators.
I'm getting really pissed off with it. I am entitled to my own opinions and I don't attempt to force them on anyone .. yet I don't get the same courtesy. I just get attacked left, right and center. Why? Because I'm vocal and have strong opinions? Yeah, lame. Especially if it means I can't respond in kind for fear of getting ANOTHER temp-ban.
Oh and I'm fully expecting yet ANOTHER ban for "daring" to slander some of the older members and voice my grievances about this. So go right ahead.

It's not true that people with over 1500 posts are given special treatment (look at Leo  ). And that is what you get for trying to argument with people in games section, it's known for a long time that people there flame each other all the time, but you're new so all is forgiven

I don't mind a flaming session, I really don't! I can give as good as I get ... but NOT when it means I'm the one that ends up banned because of it.

Well you'll often encounter people who'll say stfu noob, or sth alike, just ignore them and move along And someone needs to be blamed (mods have to justify their bans to other mods, so I guess they agreed with the punishment)

if someone is on your case just ignore the fucker and move on, after all it ain't real
most important thing is do not ever bitch about temp ban that's just throws u into perm ban

Sabin if you get flamed first, you should just hit the report button. I would be willing to bet, that when you respond with flames that is what "they/them" are doing to you.

The smart thing to do is not care about the bans and embrace them. Then mods have little leverage over you, because what will they do, ban you? That's what I've been doing for the last few weeks.

It is good of you to consider there might be a root cause to getting banned multiple times and having a large portion of all flamewars in the games forum centered around you.
However I have to urge you to consider other options besides "everyone hates me'.

Oh you mean the bullshit I'm not willing to swallow, off people far less knowledgable? Is that what you mean? I have strong opinions and I don't fall for the same bullshit certain people expect me to. If I see something is wrong, I disagree with it -- then I get flamed.
... or am I missing something?
How about the ignored reports I put in? You tell me to report people - I do - you ignore it. Lovely.
