Quote:
The 2013 Korean feature film is being adapted as a TV series with Josh Friedman (Sarah Connor Chronicles, War of the Worlds) attached to pen the script for Tomorrow Studios, which has optioned the rights to the film.

The potential series will be based on the 2013 film that was written and directed by Bong Joon Ho in his first English-language production. The movie, which starred Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton is set in a post-apocalyptic Ice Age where the only remaining life on the planet survives aboard a train that travels around the globe. Bong and feature co-producer Dooho Choi are attached to executive produce alongside Adelstein and producing partner Becky Clements. Chan-wook Park, who produced the feature, is also attached as an EP.

I'm one of those who liked the movie (very questionable when it comes to the feedback, and very understandable also Razz Laughing), so I'm quite intrigued. It could very well turn into a disaster though, I guess we'll see. *eats a roach protein bar*

Well my opinion is that the movie was shit so you can only do better than that Aww Yeah

Seriously despite the horrible writing of the film, the setting and concept is good so sounds good to me.

The movie was ridiculous, but still a guilty, stylish pleasure. I'm not expecting the same from a series though.

Yes it was absurd in terms of practicality but that was also its attraction.. loved the art style.. However, a TV series? Pah! As stupid as a Minority Report.. oh wait.. Embarassed

another film that's absolutely impossible to translate into a tv show
how the hell do you translate something that allegorical?
i know of only the prisoner that succeeded in something similar but that one had a lot more to work with rather than a simplistic linear train
it will be terrible

Aye, it looks sanitized, which is a deadly sin especially for a concept like this one. Not unexpected though.

I still haven't watched Snowpiercer. I've got it on my drive but I figured that if the whole thing takes place on a train from start to finish I'd probably get bored rather quick.

It is a ridiculous movie. Not ridiculously bad, necessarily, but ridiculous.

I was very impressed with it. It's a really strong film. Taking it too literally makes it seem like a convoluted movie, but that's not the point.

Yes, if you go into it thinking it is an action movie on a train, like I did, it will seem ridiculous. LOL

She is still a nice looking lady, but she was so fucking hot back then and now she just looks kinda unhealthy....she needs more flesh on them bones.. Laughing

@VGAdeadcafe

Her face looks good for a 50 years old woman.

But have u seen this??

It's like she is eating practically nothing and just drinks water lol.

What the fuck? Did she escape from The Auschwitz concentration camp?

It has nothing to do with her age!

Movie was pretty great. Really Enjoyed it.

Watched first episode. Not bad no terrible.

Funny how major characters are pretty much flipped. Gotta chase that SJW crowd.
