Yeah, they are doing the same thing with The Orphanage, and continuing to remake a dozen asian horror movies. I can't stand all that remake crap.
Been looking forward to this movie ever since I incidentally heard about it a few weeks ago. |

I give it 8/10. Entertaining, not great by a long shot but it was better than 28 days later. The ending lacked like hell imo, probably going to be a sequal since approx 3 of the 929313718 plot questions where answered in this movie.
For a start, where the hell is the story outside of the building? Its like someone wrote a story in a shoebox and just deleted the entire world outside.

the same said people after they watched Blair Witch , dude the whole movie is about the TAPE that was RECorded from this accident hence the name (it was made this was to give you the feeling you are there), but if you still need the other things then just wait for the crappy Hollywood remake(this perspective is the narration perspective and it sucks in Hollywood movies like a all knowing god that shows you the best parts see "Vantage Point" for a example how you can fuck up perspectives and how Hollywood directors can't show it properly )

it isnt that scary.. It has jumps which make you shit yourself, id say 3-4 times.
Sometimes you can tell when a jump is gonna happen, that was the only down side.. (quiet for a while, ominous camera angles etc)
