Hiya,

I am basically fed up with customs crap, seeing prices in US vs EU and how they sometimes differ so much that I decided to look for alternatives. Sometimes I buy an item in the US and once it gets here once customs gets wind of it the item costs more than I would have bought it overhere in the store:( Basically when you think of it, you pay taxes twice, cuz the guy selling it to you in the US already payed taxes on it, and then when it gets in europe you pay taxes again, add to that administration fees and you'r out alot of smackaroonies.

So why am I making this post, I am looking for a thrustworthy nforcer who would be willing to embark with me on a lucrative adventure. This won't involve doing anything criminal, all you would be doing is sending stuff overseas at a lower declared customs value(and also removing any invoices ofcourse). No customs officer would know it was a new item and you wouldn't be doing anything illegal as you just declare the item as gift, yeah ofcourse you lie about the real value but since you are not a storeholder you are not obliged to declare it for its real value when you ship it out.

So with you sending out a low declared value(lets say you ship out a CPU and declare it for 20$ instead of the real 250$ it would mean that I won;t have to pay income tax, all you do is declare it as gift as well and voila, you'r in the clear and I am in the clear).

So if anyone here wants to be my steady contact in the US then we can ofcourse make it so that you profit from this as well(depending on items shipped you will make 20-40$ money for nothing).

If anyone is keen on doing this for me then drop me a PM, I will only take up serious forumgoers and people that have a higher status on nforce. If more then one guy replies to me on PM, I'll have to see which guy sounds the most sincere and nicest.

As for me, you'll soon come to know how honest and sincere I am, as I am the one who is allways taking the risk of sending money upfront first:)

lemme know ok,

Pfiemel

Dunno about your countries, but I tried to do this here in Israel when i ordered my PSP from Hong Kong and they opened it anyway so i had to pay the tax AND i was almost fined for this shit (luckily, I had a nice talk with some clerk while waiting in line and she stood up for me).
In short, be careful with stuff like that cause it can backfire on you.

Well as long as customs don't don't open the package they should be ok.

Customs can't fine you if you open the goods and do not include the original invoice, then for all they care you can put in a brand new rolex worth 5000$, if it has no invoice and is declared as gift and low amount then it doesn't fall under tax fraud. Now if you ship an item, declare it for 20$ and include the invoice for the real value and they open it then well, then you'r in the shit:)

Customs can do jack shit if you aren't sending items by the bucketload, if you ship one or two ipods and you do it like above then customs will stand there scratching their arse, if you however send a box filled with 20-50 ipods then they might start guessing:) I'd like to see them try holding back a package like that, I'll have the law down on them so fast they won't know what hit them.

Not entirely true. A friend purchased an expensive watch in the USA (where it was significantly cheaper than it would have been here) and took it with him to Europe. No problem.
Then he broke the watch and had to get it repaired, which would have cost a small fortune here, but was so much cheaper in the US that even with shipping and all that, he would have saved lots of money. So he sent it to a family member in the US, she had it repaired and then she sent it back, without any invoice or packaging or stuff and declared as a gift.
Customs decided to check that very package, opened it, recognized that the watch was very expensive and they didn't believe that he just got it repaired, so he had to pay tax on the estimated value.
What I'm trying to say is, customs aren't retarded, they'll notice if you receive a very expensive item (let's say a laptop or top cpu or gfx card or whatever), they won't believe the declared value is $20 or whatever and they may keep the package until you pay your taxes.
So I'd advise you to consider what you're doing carefully, not trying to tell you not to do it (not at all, don't get me wrong), just read up on customs and all that stuff, and don't rely on what you read or hear here and there, rely on official documents from your customs office before you get into such a situation.
Good luck.

I've heard that custsoms bother checking like 5% of the packages. Which is low risk for somet things. The suggested culprit - a CPU - wouldn't even make any sense to them. I imagine it would go down, something like this:

"Hey John, what the hell is this?", asked Bobby unraveling a brand new core duo extreme edition that's been labled "worthless gift" by sender.
"Heck, if I knew I would probably get a different job that didn't suck ass and had to do with computer hardware", said John - his eyes aglaze, probably imagining a better life as a computer hardware salesman at bestbuy.
