I thought you might of gotten a Quad, but the C2D your gettin spec's wise look's badass.

I was going to get a Quad-Core but after so many bad review's an complaint's on several different forum's i'm looking at the black edition Dual-Core.

Best bang for your buck right now, you are probably thinking of the old models. The 320 MB and the 640 MB are the older slower cards. However, the 512 card is one of the fastest cards out right now.

If you have a buddy in school you might be able to have them get a copy from the UNI for less then <$100.00

I don't blame ya, pain in the arse to deal with the various versions needed every other month. Right now, it seems they haven't been fighting it but it's probably just to get people hooked then they are going to start cracking down to try and drive the sales up a bit.

I don't know about that PSU it might be a good one but I dont trust the lower end CM ones. I like Seasonics or the Corsair HX. Very quiet and effecient. I think 850w is overkill even if you were running two 8800gts cards.

I am just running a bfgtech 650 watt. I don't really have any complaints other then it's a little loud.
