Hi, Currently I have 2 Desktops side by side. 1 of them has a wifi card and gets 100% signal. I want to connect my 2nd desktop to my 1st desktop so it also gets internet. I dont want to install a 2nd pci wifi card in the 2nd pc. I tried that and I dont get a strong signal. I rather just pull internet from my 1st desktop which has strong signal. Both running XP Pro Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks!

internet --> pc1 wifi --> router --> pc2 nic would that work? not a network expert though asus z170-A \|\| core i5-6600K \|\| geforce gtx 970 4gb \|\| 16gb ddr4 ram \|\| win10 \|\| 1080p led samsung 27"

1st pc - wifi card 2nd pc - nothing 3rd pc - connected to router upstairs thru ethernet cable Need to know how to connect 2nd pc to 1st pc for interent. All pc's desktops running XP. Currently I have 2nd pc using its own wifi card which gets poor reception. Want to just run it thru 1st pc which gets 100% reception.

Thanks for your help. I think my issue is im trying to piggy back onto a wifi pc. I think setting up a crossover cable nic to a wifi pc might be more involved somehow.
