Note: Logitech Fanboy (xcept speakers) I've seen this keyboard and was thinkin' to replace mine (Logitech media keyboard) to this..first of all i would like to kno' if other people who bought this likes it or not..aka opinion Then i would like to kno' sum things: 1.My KBoard mentioned before has this "F MODE" key to change tween Normal F keys and "special" F keys (special when F key's turned off)..but it's not on the G11...That means all the F keys does nothing but their windows/applications function? 2.I'm a Team Fortress 2 (and other games) FREAK and after seein' the G Keys things i would like to know if there's a chance to,for example,i'm playin' as The Spy class and wanna instantly disguise as a DEMOMAN...so i would like to do a Macro/G Key to do that instead of rollin' the mouse's wheel or stretchin' a finger to the "4" key and then click and then choose a class...is it possible?..or does it interfere with the choosing speed? 3.Can i assign the G keys to open programs also?..like a G key to open Photoshop or the browser.. 4.Are the keys really ergonomic instead of my kboard's softness?^^;..my ASDXCL keys are all erased .. 5.How does it sounds when u type fast on the keyboard?,noise or not that much?.. 6.Does it really requires USB or does it have a USB->Kboard plug thingy?.. 7.Can you connect the mouse and webcam (or other USB peripherals) to the Keyboard and still workin' as good as ever? Please reply ASAP!

I have a G15, but the interface is very similar (same board but without the screen).
I will try to answer based on my experience, some of the questions you ask i never tried, like the F key.

I think you can do this, as you record/create a macro based on mouse clicks or keys. Your imagination is sort a the limit here. I used to have macros for BF2 like shot, jump,prown etc. with one click of the mouse button. The timings/speed can all be set up via the macro manager.

The sound could be better, but I have also seen/heard worse.

I believe it comes with a keyboard plug/extension...never used it but.

YES! I have my G9 mouse connected through one of the USB ports...makes cleaner cable management, as i can hide the excess cable under the keyboard, there are channels (at least on the G15) made for that.

If you hesitate to buy a G11 DON'T! its a kick as board...but I would go for the G15, not the new edition, but the old one (the one i have) Its the best gaming, all round keyboard i ever had, and i had a few. Whatever you do NEVER buy a Zboard, had 2-3 and all break down in the end, keys stop working etc. Might look cool or seem like a good idea at a 1st glance, but the quallity is just piss poor.

The only really negative point I have to say is the light of the keys are to weak. There are two levels but still not enough, at least not for me. The blue light could be double the strength of what it is.

Just checked the new edition G15 here in Germany....pretty cheap actually 59,95 Euro! Used like new. Or new for 65 euro
