I know I'm not going to get high quality video on youtube, but I'm wondering if anyone has done some that doesn't come out looking like ass by the time you've uploaded it? I've seen videos on there that don't, so I'm either not using the right program, or the right settings before I upload it. I've captured a video with fraps and at 3.8 GB raw, its obviously not going to fit on youtube.
What software should I use to compress it something a little more manageable, and what setting should I use to so that youtube doesn't mangle it quite so bad on upload?
Don't forget to add the resize filter in VDub[Mod] and set it to 320x240... YouTube's resizer isn't all that great, and resizing it in your PC will yield better results (and lower upload time).
