My Logitech MX500's being PWNED slowly...Clicks needs to be hard pressed at rare times, when i move the mouse when it's stopped does a mini like bump (the bottom of the mouse's protections got PWNED too..aka no mini bottom pads thingys)
I've been thinkin' of changin' the mouse to another one..a mouse with 2 side buttons like mine for the thumb (aka Forward/Backward browser function)
I have to say that when i use my MX500 i dun have the software installed (Much better than the software everywhere, modifyin' my controls) and it has it's "Gree USB->Pin" Converter thingy,if u guys kno' what i mean....
After some search,i've heard that most of the people out there are using this "Razer" mouse collection...Then i've found this one
http://www.razerzone.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=11
My questions:
1.Does it feels much better,in touching and sizes, than the MX500?
2.Does it has a "Blue Light" under the mouse instead of the classic Red one?
3.Is the BLUE Colour included in that CopperHead kind of mouse?
4.Is the mouse's lighting off when PC's off?..
5.Is it "important" to have the software installed?...Are the "right handed" buttons for the thumb (aka at the left of the mouse) set as "Forward/Backward" for web browsing just like my MX500?..i ask this coz i'm used to the MX500 without it's software in.
6.Are the C.Head bottom pads better than my MX500?..to prevent those "bumps" i've mentioned before.
7.Does it has a "Green USB->Pin" Converter?...if yes, what would be the differences of using the mouse with that converter and without using it? (Veeeery important)
8.If not installing the software, what would it's default DPI?
Thanks for the help..sorry for being that "detailed"...else this page would become a huge flood of random messages
PD: No,in Spain (where i live) we dun have the new,2 side button,G5 Mouse from Logitech...Yet?

1) Dunno but fits PERFECTLY in my hand. I won't use any other mouse.
2) no but you won't notice it http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=Razer+Copperhead&x=0&y=0
3) yes the Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue
4) yes
5) No, I've alwyas used the windows drivers but the software drivers come with some cool features to set what the buttons do. These mouses are deisigned symetrical so their the same whether your left or right handed and yes the buttons on side serve as forward and backaward but I think you may need the software installed which isn't a burden.
6) The pads I'm assuming your mean the skates. Razers are designed with 0 friction pads and lemme tell you, they mean it lol.
7) yes it comes with the usb > ps/2 converter if that's what you mean
I think it's max
I use the razer diamond back, it's a bit cheaper than the copperhead and I won't use any other mouse now. I love their customer support. I bought the mouse over a year ago, my left mouse button died on me, they just told me to send it back to them and they'll send me one back.

actually the habu is supposed to be good. Razer and M$ teamed up and made it. And it's just like sYn said, razer designed the insides and M$ designed the outsides

I purchased this mouse about 1 year ago, when I first used it I hated every aspect of it, it was way too sensitive and not comfortable, I found the side button to be hard to reach… I used it half a day and directly unplugged it, being in a country where return policies sucks I was stuck with it, so after spending so much money on mouse I decided to use it anyway, it litteraly took weeks to get used to it (talking about gaming) now one year later I could'nt use ANY other mouse and I love it… just keep in mind that it might take time to adapt to it but in the end you will love it!

I may also add that the mouse buttons (left and right) are very easy to push in so not much effort is needed but you still get that sense that you clicked the button. I just got my diamondback back and forgot how great the 0 friction mouse skates they use are.
and I agree with [evil] the sensativity on these will take some time to get used to but once you do, you'll be just that much better in game

I've readed up that the mouse can save his own configuration inside of it...Does it means that if i install the software and apply my personal settings, the mouse will save 'em into it's internal memory and i won't need to have the program opened all the time?
I mean,i open the program, apply and accept my changes, then when i close the program THE CONFIGURATION REMAINS INSIDE THE MOUSE and i dun need to have the program all the time opened...right?
btw,how much does the program occupies?

OK, gonna resurrect this topic. Right now i got the Fatal1ty 1010 mouse. I got it free after rebates and i know why now. I don't like it. My fingers seem to be cramped and the buttons sometimes don't always work. So my question is which one do you all recommend? I was thinking about going with a Razor mouse. Any Suggestions would be great.
If it's not broke, i can fix it

I was looking at it and I can't figure whether I'd like it or not. Looks too bizarre for normal PC using. Since stupid stores here in IL don't allow opening of boxes to see how mice feel, I still think G5/G7 is the better choice.
