Hey, I've got this strange problem with my monitor lately. I've got a lot of strange pink pixels all over the screen. I don't think they are dead pixels because they are not pink all the time and shouldn't dead pixels be green?? I tried the latest nvidia drivers (i've got a 6800GT) and also old drivers but is doesn't resolve the problem. Here you can see some screenshots: EDIT: if i look at these screenshots on another pc they look perfectly okay...i'll try to show you what the problem is in another way...to be continued Is anyone of you familiar with this problem? If so...help me!

omg, you gotta be kidding http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32259 of course the screenshots look fine, since our monitors are fine too try taking a pic with a digicam asus z170-A \|\| core i5-6600K \|\| geforce gtx 970 4gb \|\| 16gb ddr4 ram \|\| win10 \|\| 1080p led samsung 27"

no I wasn't joking. This problem just appears more to me as a software problem and not a hardware problem. Here are some foto's taken of my screen: Any suggestions?

Question : You only get those when you watch movies ?

if yes then go into Nvidia Control Panel (your card drivers ) and go into default mode in Video & Television and "adjust desktop color settings"

Sometimes you will need monitor drivers to set the right colors in the "Color management"

No I get them all the time. But I think it is a hardware problem after all...when I pull out my monitor cable from the monitor itself and turn on the monitor I get the same black/red fucked up screen...I will contact sony and discuss the problem
