yarly. IMO, nothing to took forward too. Everything has been done 5 times over, and every new thing gets worse. Most PC games are ports, most console games are short as hell (see halo3) most games have awful story lines now.
Multiplayer is shit, everyone cheats, anti-cheat sucks like a cheap whore and Microsoft is taking over everything with XBL and g4wl.
Yup, im quitting gaming at the multiplayer level.
As for single player.. I hope to god we see some good games in 2008.

Hit the nail on the head.
To be fair, its been a great season for "supposed to be good" games, if you get my drift.
All of them where significantly worse than they where expected to be quality and content wise. The only one which remotely lived up to most of its hype was Crysis. Everything else has seriously lacked.

yeah, but we had like 20 of them. That makes for alot of hours. I still havent played half of them. Most that i played looked great and played great and were just long enough to avoid being boring. |

It's not dying. Idea wells are drying up. Same hooters, same heros, same + & -, etc. Some games get better by copying most good parts but others need to evolve more.

you guys are fucking retarded. gaming has never been stronger as an industry. So yes the fucking originality and new ideas are dead, but that doesnt fucking mean the game industry is dead, it means its evolved from that state of experimentation, and its now a money grubbing whore of an industry. Its fucking so healthy it could eat your fucking testicles you morons.

How does the size of a game installed on your HDD correlate to it's length? It doesn't in any way shape or form, only people I've heard complaining about how big games installed are the ones with 40Gig IDE HDD's.

Only reason because, is they are influenced by big companies like EA and Activison to make poor game, and the games that relly looks cool, they want the publisher to rush!
