The college I work for is paying for MCSE and Network Plus. We have a Novell network now and are going to start using Windows servers for online registration and bill paying. I am only a tech and we talked the college into paying for the Boot Camp and the tests!!! So hopefully an a year or so after I have the certs I can get a better job lol.
Tell them to wait... MS is about the change there entire cert and thus you will be left with a pretty much pointless qualification ! Do the new ones not the old.. you will be better off for it...

once you have stuff now, you won't lose it ever cuz the product will continue to be used for years to come, especially W2K3 and SQL, so what Syn is saying is pure bullshit, just make sure you get your stuff now and you'll be good. What Syn means is that MS is going to adjust the requirements for reaching MCSE status, but MS will adjust the needs for people already having acquired older certs, same way where people having w2k2 certs only needed like 3 win2k3 certs to get MCSE, just cuz they are so similar in design.
