Ok here's the deal. Im using vista ultimate 32 bits, had to activate it using some executable called "one click activator" or something similar.

Now its all working fine for a couple of months, but recently I saw on MS website there was a new update regarding virtual mem and gaming. Ive been having crashes and what not, so I think this update would help.

The problem is that Windows Update doesnt find it. So my question is: If I follow the MS site and download the update from there, would it f*ck up vista for me? You have to install something so MS can validate the vista copy, so I wasnt too sure about installing that thing and thought I'd ask here. Razz

It should work fine, I have had my cracked copy of vista validated several times.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one

But did you download the fix from the microsoft site?

I'm not talking about automatic updates, since those work for me too.
