Alright, when I burned the game at 2.4x with imgburn (YES I BURNED THE .DVD FILE!!) it gave me a mixed media file when I loaded it on the 360. What happened....? My firmware is i-Etreme 1.2 for the Hitachi drive.

Here too, it gives media disc and the burn failed, wtf is going on? burned it @ 1 speed in clonecd

Weird! If the burn failed I think its safe to say your game wont work! No idea why it would read it as a mixed media disc though. Did you download the demo previously? Maybe the retail version is conflicting with the demo as stupid as that sounds lol. Just an idea since the demo version is read as a mixed media disc too.

Deleted the demo but still the same, im burning my last Dual Layer, never had a coaster if this one failes im gonna go nuts...

Ok, maybe i should use imgburn, burn at 1x and maybe that will solve my problem. I don't have the demo so i know that isn't conflicting with my box.

When i first started burning 360 games, i used clone cd but when i found imgburn i reburned all my games. Also for more info i used verbatum dual layers and i burn it on a NEC drive. I guess i could try it but i am kind of scared to make another coaster. In clonecd, do you just click "Write from image file" and select the .dvd file or the .iso?

I used Imgburn with verbatim at 2.4X and the game works perfectly.

I did select the .dvd file before burning, burned at 2.4x with verbatum dual-layers and it gave me "Multi Media Disc" after it read the disc. By the way i have a Hitachi drive in my 360. The odd thing is, before this game i had no problems burning and playing any other game.

Any way to make this thing work with a legit debug kit? I didn't make the list to get a copy and my burns keep showing up as "Please insert a DVD" nonsense. I'm using Memorex and I've used Nero and CloneCD at 2.4X.

You're running a similar setup to me I think (nec drive, verb dual layers and a hitachi drive).
I found if I burnt the game at 2.4 speed it didn't work.
I reburned (using ImgBurner --> clicking on .dvd file rather than iso) at 1x and it's working perfectily.

You mean on a developer console? I don't think so. The game executable will probably only run on retail consoles because it's in retail mode (and not debug mode). At least that's how it was with the first Xbox console.

Yea, it is a debug kit. Not a Dev Kit (big grey one) but one you can use to run pre-release code.
