Fucking hell.
So, last week, yet again, I dreamt that I start to bite down, and thus having my mouth closed and no matter what I do, I can't stop, I just bite as hard as I can pretty much. Of course, this hurts my teeth IRL as well, so I wake up after 10-20 minutes of this crap. Fucking annoying, I have this dream every third week or so. Anyone else have this? No clue why, I don't really have any fear or phobia for teeth or biting teeth or any of the likes.

Are you stressed out? I am having a lot of weird dreams that cause me to do things IRL. Grinding teeth, spitting in dream waking up instantly to the fact i spit on my pillow. Doesn't happen often but the crazy dreams do. I'm not used to dreaming. I hadn't had one for around 5 years. The last 6 months i have tons of them.

hmhm happens,my friend dreamed once the same dream two weeks long,than it just stopped..maybe you have just to wait but..don´t know go to your doctor, ask him =)

Well, I know when I have tests (which I had lot lately), I have dreams where I freeze during test, or something like that. It could be stress related like tihkal said...

It could be anything, really... I've heard of cases such as this being in relation to supressed memmories and emotions; I've heard about people getting toothache when there's something wrong with their ticker.
Of course, if you are lucky, it's nothing more than a "Don't think about blue oranges"-thingy, once you start you can't make youself stop; and it doesn't help that you find it unpleasant and think about it before going to bed.
I've had a slightly different "problem" when I was a lot younger. I used to get erections in the middle of the night, that would last a long long time. As any fule kno, those start to hurt after a while, so I woke up with a pain in my crotch, and th erection wouldn't go away untill I completely woke up and started doing something totally unsexy, like browse nforce sexy selections section. The moral, and the issue of this story was that I didn't have a girlfreind at the time, maybe all you need is some mid night snack?

You need a mouth plate to stop you from bitting down., It happens during a stressfull sleep

i often have a really bad dream, i wake up from a dream and i cant move any parts of my body! im completly numb and cant feel shit! the only thing i can do is wiggle my fingers or my toes until the feeling comes back and i can manage to move properly.
and that is the fucking dream! everything in my dream is almost identical to how it is for real so for the first 10 or so times i thought it was real and not a dream but slowly i noticed small changes like the curtains have an inch or so gap like there werent properly closed but in the real world they were completly closed.
its really fucking annoying ! once i had fell asleep in bed while getting my 3year old off to sleep so he was lieing next to me, unaware to me my wife had moved him downstairs to his own bed at some point while i was sleeping, but i had that fucked up dream exactly the same as always and my kid was even in the dream lieing next to me fast asleep! it wasnt until i really woke up that i even realised he wasnt there.
i dont know why it happens, often i will dream that messed up dream 3-4 nights during the same week but there can be months of not having it at all before it starts again

And I don't know, I don't think I'm stressed. o.O Maybe I just don't realize it myself, but it is true, I do remember my dreams more when I'm stressed, if I think back.
JahLux, I got the falling down dream a lot when I was growing up, I never get it now, never. So you might actually be on to something there. =D

I grind my teeth when I sleep to man. Best solution, buy a mouthguard. thats what i had to do in my early 20's because i wore my back teeth down soooooo much

i used to have dreams where i was dragged out of the bed by some invisible non-physical power to another room in my house which was dark, as well as i caouldn't make a voice. it made me completely mute.
i've sometimes analyzed that maybe it happened real, as aliens took me for their research and i wake up normally in the morning after the tests :d
