So I have this problem that's been bugging me for some time. I get max download speed on my 4mbit ADSL, web pages are loading fast and I have a decent ping when playing online games.
The problem appears when I want to get a server list in games such as BF2/2142, CoD2, CSS and others by clicking "get new list" or "update list" buttons. The problem is that I get very few servers, from 1 to 30, when actually there are 1000s of servers for all of those games.
I know this is not software problem, because I have a secondary connection and with it all the servers show up nicely on this very computer, with same firewall settings and same everything else. Maybe it's my ISP blocking me from pinging many servers at once, but then again I never heard of ISP do something like this? Maybe my cheap crap ADSL modem Huawei SmartAX MT820 I got from ISP is crapping out on me and dieing?
Everything else I do online works fine, so WTF? I didn't have this very weird problem until about a month ago.
