so since this game uses activation, does anyone know what server it tries to contact so i can block it in the host file?

you should be able to find the exe with your firewall and block it.
Btw, the activation has different forms of activation. When you go to activate it your going to choose to do it by phone then use the keygen or whatever's in the NFO to activate it that way. So the game won't be connecting to the net unless you choose the wrong activation method or you try to play the game on their server.

yes theres english files floating around that only converts text to english. Read from page 5 and back and it's posted somewhere. |

well it's been said the game is still a little buggy so that might be one of your problems. Other wise list your hardware  |

Yeah, start the installation of directx and aegia from the dvd once more, fixed that crash for me.

edit: hmm i do remember telling him to fuck off when he tried installing some visual studio stuff the first time, he didnt asked again at the second install tough
edit2: meh it works now after reinstalling the game and the 3 adiitional softwares...

ok dunno if this is a bug or not:
right in the beginning when u first enter the temple and the tut starts, it tell u to open the gate by pushing space... well ive tried a million times the gate wont open??

I've installed all the software on the CD many many many times now, and it definitly does not work, I get the Two Worlds screen, then the game mouse cursor comes up, black screen flash, then it kicks me back to desktop, I've tried this running 1.0, 1.1, 1.0 with 1.1 exe, 1.1 with 1.0 exe, etc etc, I get the same crash every time...here are my specs but I guess this wont help and I'll have to wait till 1.2 and hope for better.
...I fixed it by moving the intro videos, then it loaded up.

Playing the Razor 1911 English/other languages release.
Game installed fine and crack seemed to work. BUT, I have absolutely NO sound with the game. Nothing. No sound as the game begins... no sound at the start menu... no sound in game.
Pisser.
Sounb Blaster X-Fi Extreme Audio sound card.
Windows XP Pro
E6600 running at 3.29 ghz
Gforce 8800 GTX
2 gigs of Dominator (corsair) ram.

no sound here either, and the game is sortof jerky, fps seems fine but its jerky.
comp specs are listed as below, but with some pos soundcard, creative audiopci
big_gun, is your game updated to the latest patch? + crack from razor.. maybe the 1.1 crack is bad or something... i dunno. also, i have to alt tab out of the game then maximize it back up in order to select a menu option, i can highlight shit now but not select it - fucking annoying

With the game comes a new directX version different from older versions. Its version name is still "DirectX 9.0c" but there are these new xactengine.dlls which are required for sound in this game. they are from 4/2007 and not included in older DirectX 9.0c versions.

yeah after installing that it fixed 2 out of the 3 issues i was having, im still getting the jerky feeling, and it makes controlling a horse a total pain in the fuckin ass

Was it giving you an error? Because now, after installing that Direct X version that comes with it, mine errors out after the "Two Worlds" logo screen while it is starting. I get that logo then it dumps me to desktop with an error report box to send to MS.

yah i got the first disk going but i cant find the crack for the game and when i put in the 1111-1111-1111-1111 serial it says the seriel is invalid and i tried this 1.2 patch and crack but you have to register online i need support badly

well as for the serial I dunno what version you use but that's not what was in the nfo. I can't tell you due to teh rules here so you'll have to figure it out youtself. As for the registering online again the info is in the nfo how to do phone activation. |
