I've been lookin' throu a spanish store and i was wondering if you guys could help me

Ya see,the guy who made my tower "forgot" to put a Tower/Case fan (8cm) in it and i noticed it 2 years like after!!!! ><...no wonder why my gfx card (nVidia ASUS EN7900GT 256MB PCI-EXPRESS) was OVERHEATED

Now i'm looking for 2 things:

1.Tower/Case Fan of 8cm (for the back of the tower,eh!!)
2.a VGA Cooler

From all the sites i know, this one has these Tower/Case Fans and a VGA Cooler that seems ok

VGA Cooler: http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&codp=2867

Fans:
http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_productos.php&tipo=1&codf=80&md=1

(Please browse the Fans section)

My big question is...wich Fan,from the 4 pages that are in the Fans link, should i get?...i just want the tower's heat flow away a lot of hot air and to be as silent as possible.....and remember..8CM FAN,not a beasty 12cm...they don't fit grinhurt

i need help!!..

For the vga cooler i took the Zalman VF900-Cu, i can only recommend it to you (once again). Wink

I dunno a good 80mm fan, you should have a look by yourself at some review or roundup before choosing one that can stay silent.

But i've got a huge fear.....

like i said,i've got a ASUS nVidia EN7900GT..this EXACT model: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=2&l2=6&l3=269&l4=0&model=1064&modelmenu=1

i've got a HUGE fear of losing warranty of the gfx card AND to make the card unstable or anything...or even break it!!..

What tower fan would you recommend me anyways?..or wich 1 u have?

wow the fan on that thing is pitiful. I'd email them asking if it'd void the warranty on putting a better heatsink on it. I think EVGA (correct me if im wrong) doesn't care if you do or not. But it's usually a pretty simple install so you shouldn't break anything unless your a down right idiot lol. As far as making it unstable, if anything you'll make it better. Just make sure you use a tiny bit of arctic silver in place of whatever crap they got on there. You should see quite the bit of improvement.

Zalman is notorious for making some of the best heatsinks ever so you dun have to worry about not seeing results. Though the one he posted is damn good.

Oh yeah sorry i haven't told you of the possible warranty problem coz the eVga that i have (you are right SpykeZ) has its warranty allowing fan replacements... Embarassed Razz

For the tower, dunno i would take the cheap Arctic Fan 8 coz i avoid LEDs.

Here is an up-to-date roundup btw:

found one,the coolink 801 one Wink (got my CPU Fan at 2000RPM and if this tower fan has 1300-1500 it's ok ^^

i think i'll buy a GFX Card cooler...one with 2 fans (one to "cool up" the GFX,the other to flow the heat away in 180 grades of direction)

Those PCI coolers are normally pretty useless and can disturb the air flow through the case (personal opinion)

as for the 80mm case fan I'm prob just a zalman smut but

Those PCI slot blowers only benefit the people with Nvidia 8 series. The horizontal cut out vents on the back end of the card allow a ton of the air being pushed by the cards fan to escape back into the case.

By positioning a slot blower directly under those 3 vents it....well duh it reduces temps pretty drastically.

Yes this is quite irrelevant to the topic, I apologize. Crying or Very sad

These two look good to me.

http://www.tienda-traxtore.com/tienda/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&codp=2269

I like the fact that it has a fan speed regulator. You mentioned noise was an issue so you could turn it down when you not running hot. Although I did have one of those regulators on my radiator and it's not practical to be turning the rpm up and down every time you use the comp. I used to keep it on full all the time. But in general it seems to be low noise.

This one is 120mm but looks all high tech from all that designed by Austrians in secret labs stuff Very Happy. With that ULNA thingy the noise seems to be super low but you'll get lower cfm.

Tried a pci system cooler from titan (i don't remember exactly the model, already thrown from the window) ... useless.
Tried a pci vga cooler from antec ... i got it broken in my hands while i was mounting it ... i used a lot of care in the operation but it incredibly broke ... no comment.
Tried the scythe system cooler, this one is nice, keeping it, provides some more fresh air to the system.

After my last experiences i agree with you ... pci coolers are probably really a waste of everything, time and money, and offer very poor results.

There are only 10 kinds of people : those that understand binaries and those that don't.

It's just ricer hardware. People add it to their cases cause it's....hardware...and think it'll boost something.
