I think it will be extremely boring. Who gives a fuck about a beat'em/shoot'em up in 2007... There's enough of crap like that on PS2/Xbox. I don't say it's bad. But there's nothing special about it.

And those east-european-town-with-big-alien-tower-in-the-background are an obvious HL2 rip-off

I agree with Vodka. Beat'em up games stopped maturing after Mortal Kombat, after that it has just been the same old button-mashing shit. Razz

Button mashing can be fun.....sometimes....for about 10 minutes....once. Hence why they need to stop making the TMNT game and milking it.

is it just me or was that video choppy as hell.

Game looks like a shit broken down gears of war. Bet it'll be over used & abused and will be nothing more than a fart in the wind.

I've played the demo and it was actually pretty fun. I'd forgotten about the game though .. it's been so long since any news, I'd just lost interest.

http://www.fileplanet.com/193615/190000/fileinfo/Collapse:-Devastated-World-Demo-(Russian)

-Edit-

HOWEVER! While the game, as a pure beat'em'up, is pretty darned fun (beautiful graphics too, they rival HL2-Eps) I personally think it's a wasted idea. The engine, the gameplay, the battle mechanics, the stories and objectives ... they all lend themselves to an EXCELLENT hack'n'slash RPG. It could well have been another Titan Quest-esque title, but instead it's just a run of the mill corridor TPS action title. Such a shame.
