Depends on your city, in Amsterdam all shops are open, and I'm sure more are opened because there is Sinterklaas 5th December here so I think most toy shops are open here in whole Netherlands.
Indeed, I have bought it at a place where the shops are open.
But I can't play because I have to wait for the release date it says..

Deliveries might have been made earlier this week - not to be sold..sure, but not everyone cares and sell it anyway - Shops closed? Depends, where I live there are loads of shops open on sundays.

I guess the date verification thing must be working (Just like with Far Cry 2) if all we've seen so far (Despite several sources saying they've bought the game.) is pics of the box and part of the readme.
(Shouldn't there be quite a few videos and screens of the actual game, especially with that "replay" feature that Rockstar has hyped about the PC version, though I'm not too trilled about it because it needs that "Social club" program as well and now it's required for the actual game, kinda like the GameSpy server browser a while back.)

As happens with every big release, this thread needs to be locked until the game is actually out, legitimately or otherwise.

I understand if some one post, in chinese or russian, but ban all the ppl who talk another language ? like spanish per example..

Because it's extremely annoying for the +- 95% of the users, including mods, who aren't able to see what is being discussed? Who knows. Maybe links to illegal downloads are shared in a foreign language. Better to be safe than sorry.
