Hey all.
not sure if this should be in technical but anyway.....
As with the old xbox once i got it chipped i forfeited the right to play xbox live.
Now...with the 360, am i right to assume that once i have flashed the firmware i can no longer play on xbox live??
Its my mates xbox and we flashed awhile backs, works fine, just started talking about xbox live and how he couldn't play on it becasue of the firmware, but then i though about it and never actually knew the the answer to that question.
Is it cappable of playing xbox live with flashed firmware??
Before we flashed it we assumed you couldn't and we are willing to not play online.

You can still use the Xbox360 after it's been flashed on live.

nobody knows if or when M$ will flag the use of backups on live orr even flashed FW itself. For now it is at your own risk on all counts. The major thing that would piss M$ off is cheating on LIVE, since unsigned code cannot be run at this stage maybe its ok. You play the hacking game , got to be ready to pay the price
