Now that I own all 3 consoles, heres my take on each of them;
360: best game selection, best online experience, dashboard is a pain to navigate, things are hidden 2 -3 levels down, easy to setup, lot of great upcoming releases
Wii:best multi player experience, best fun factor, especially at parties, decent game selection, future releases look good
ps3:poor game selection, dashboard is simple and easy to navigate, best cooless factor because of the ability to install Linux,worst setup, takes time and you actually have to read the manual, quite a few great games down the line, but they are getting pushed back, best multimedia experience with blueray and mplayer on Linux.

You have to consider that the 360 also have had a year to mature, the PS3 is still brand new.

I'd say that Sony had one more year to optimize things and learn from the mistakes Microsoft made and that the dashboard is something you can change/update in the last minute.
I also think that the PS3 dashboard looks rather boring, but that's just a matter of taste.

I have yet to check out the PS3 dashboard (getting a PS3 when it's launching in Europe), but the 360s dashboard is cluttered with too damn many submenus, too big fonts and images, too little overview. But I like that you can use your own pictures as background and stuff.

That's ture, the looks and feel of 360 dash is somehow too colorful, complex, full of sub menus - it could have been much better.
