One thing that's guaranteed to piss me off every single day is the way we have to be so politically correct in this sodding country.
I'm from Bristol, I sound like a farmer. My mates from Wales, he shags sheep. My cousin's from Liverpool and all she does is walk around in a shell suit saying 'eh, calm down' in a stupid accent.
You go and say stuff like that publicly in this country though and you get lynched !
Everyone knows I'm taking the piss, but it's got to the stage now where you can't say anything about anyone's nationality, religion, background or anything without pissing some demographic off.
Anyway, that's it. Rant over. It would've contained more swearing but I dunno how much I can away with yet. Also, there's a load more PC stuff that winds me up, but until people here get to know me and my sense of humour, I'd probably better not say too much in case I get flamed\banned\lynched

My experience is almost the opposite. Have you ever heard of Ricky Gervais, Jon Culshaw, Russell Brand, Jimmy Carr, Peter Kay? Remember the Monty Python crew? What about little britain and the league of gentlemen? There are loads more thats a list of the top of my head.
These guys take irreverent humour to the extreme. Watch Ricky Gervais' 'Politics' for a perfect example. Beating up disabled people, exposing the ironies of religion, taking the piss out of the rapant racism in modern society, making fun of homosexuals or overweight people, it's all in there.
Honestly I don't know what the fuck you're on about.

Welcome to the club. In America, if you have enough loudmouth 'community activists', your demographic is hands off. God forbid you criticize someone who happens to be hispanic in the southwest or someone who's black in the south.
And good comedians get away with it because they rake almost everyone over the coals equally. They're seen as arbiters of taste when they give the appearance of balance. But if they were to take a single portion of their balanced routine and do it alone, they would get just as much crap as anyone else.

Balanced isn't exactly a word I would use to describe some of their rountines. They frequently get complaints but as long as they're not breaking any laws they can do what they want.

Yeah, but notice how all of those people are comedians and do it in such a way that they themselves deliberately end up looking narrow minded and biggoted ?
It's the way they say it, not what they say that allows them to get away with it.
Imagine if a british politician made some comments along the lines of Gervais'......
