I'd say keep the fuck her in the butt to yourselves but god knows that's not going to happen here lol.
Anywho, I haven't dated in almost 3 years due to a bad episode I had with an ex, almost asked her to marry me only to find out she cheated on me with a good friend.
Anywho, ever since I've had a wall up and wouldn't let people in, I'm just a down right ass to people.
I've recently met a girl who is just downright fantastic, and has somehow enchanted me with her awesome. I'm still terrified of letting my guard down, but the catch is, she lives 2 hours away which really isn't that much but I think starting a long distance relationship will help ease me back into the relationship thing.
I'm really hopping on the idea of trying it, she's a real sweetheart. Just wondering what you guys would do. Outside fucking her in the butt. Or sticking inanimate objects in her butt. Or in her vagina. or mouth.....or ears....

I don't like looking into the future or getting ahead of myself but it'd be pretty easy to get her to move in with me after we'd dated for a while, but that's after I find out how things go with us. |

Was about 3hours drive was in the army so moved around alot , will depend on how long your that far apart for the longer your relationship goes on the harder it will become,at some point one of you will have to move closer
we only really got together at weekends

2 hours isnt really a long distance relationship. Long distance means, you cannot see each other usually, except on some rare days. 2 Hours you can see each other pretty much everyday, if you choose so.
That being said, 2 hours for a new relationship, i dont know lol, sounds like a lot of work ^^

2 hours is a bit when it's 4 hours round trip and I work full time 8 hours a day every day |

If you feel good with her, why not I know a couple of friends that have long-distance relationships and never had problems with that.
Even if you can't see each other everyday (for the obvious logistic reasons) there are weekends like BonerUk said. And then there's also the common saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder”, there must be some truth in that

Ive never found trying a girl out as something to be dificult or risky, if i get a good feeling i go for it, meet her etc, without fear, if shit happens well it happened, if i got cheated, lied, etc IM not changing into a bad person, im just discovering that she sucked, so why not go for it always? Its a good experience, just dont be weak and go all emo if something happens, be clear about whats going on, if she fails you SHE fails you, not you, it isnt ur fault, just move on you learned something you are worth a lot more and get a new one when it comes around.
You just need to respect yourself, dont get used, dont get fooled, dont accept stupid or illogical requests or excuses etc, and enjoy the new relationship, i hope it goes good for you, if you feel it could be nice, it will be, and whatever happens if you are a worthy person whatever happens you shouldnt feel down or guilty, you deserve the best if ur good, if you risk it and shes a good girl then maybe ull get what u will love all ur life, if not try again!

I have friends who were completely broken after a failed relationship. One of them ditched school/job for five months and sat home eating pizza (they were on the verge of marriage though). Luckily I never connected much with a girl/woman untill I met my fiancee, but a failed relationship will hit hard if you're really into it. People say women are very emotional, but men in general are complete pussies when it comes to relationships.

I got over that, happened to me once, in the end i noticed that ive never been a bad person, never lost anything of value really, i just discovered that someone was shit and i had to move on, in the end they were the worst choice for anyone with a brain up there, and i was just a unlucky fella who deserved better, so i dont care who comes as long as it seems it could be good i go for it, ive never lost anything (since the only thing i could regret losing is Money, House etc) and ive enjoyed life a lot after i noticed that and im actually more valuable now to people who know me.
Enjoy life, worst thing that could happen is that you enjoyed being with someone who was false, you learned a lot, maybe lost some gas money... but since ur still a great person with a clean slate, and now with more experience, ull get better things ahead.
We men have to fucking wake up from the whole women attatchment thing. If anyone loses here its the women since generally if a men fucks 100 women its.... what? nothing just a man being a man.
A women fucks 100 men and shes in for a treat... ever heard of lip sag? Dont blame me  j/k ladies

Maybe it's just how it is here in the states. You live in a city you generaly have a shit ton of hotties around. I guess this summer I'll have to take pictures of what it's like downtown where I live about 7 minutes away. I can't go down there without getting a hardon |

Half of the people i know have 'long distance' relationships if you consider 2h long. People studying abroad, people moving for jobs, people moving to other universities etc.
I am from belgium and I know people with GFs/BFs in Brazil, Netherlands, Taiwan, USA and Spain. Don't ask me how they met, long stories, trust me. Some of them are abroad temporary (couple of months, a year), others live there.
Well, I'll tell you 1 story. They guy was in Portugal for university exchange program. After couple of days, he meets a portugese woman who is teaching there and eventually they become a couple. After a year he comes back to belgium to finish his studies, she decides she wants to come to Belgium as well. But after another year he visa expires and she has to return to actually make money as she did not get tenured and has no other job in Europe. Long story short, they both go 'FUUUUUUUUCK'. But they managed to get it working. He booked some flights very early, she booked some flights really early. Reasonable prices, 600$ roundtrip or something. So they saw each other every other 4-6 weeks for 2 weeks. Just to tell you that 2h is not impossible.
I've had a 3h train ride girlfriend in the past. I went there on friday and came back to uni @ monday. There's a lot fun you can have in 3 days And you can always phone, skype, message, email, whatever during the week.
In some sort of way it is really easy. You don't see each other all the time. You can have fun with the guy friends during the week. You can keep your independence. And you know when you can see each other, so you plan to make it realyl fun. No boring moments etc etc.
