It's not that long that i wander the dungeons of this board but since then i noticed quite an increased amount of SPAM. Are there others with similar experience?

It's not bad. Just slice in some onions, peppers... a touch of Italian dressing and enjoy the sandwich
There are still some serious discussions here and there. Mostly in the booooooooooooooooooring world headlines section.
