How about this,
get off from the computer, go to the gym, meet some people lose some weight.
start playing a sport.
get a job.
start visiting clubs.
I'm sure things'll pick up from there... what you are doing right now isn't helping, but only making matters worse for you.

I met someone couple days back.
Today it went to a new level.
I'm only on the computer cause I'm stuck editing. Something I really enjoy. Post production is something I really love.
I'm not into clubs.
I know you want to help me, but please... you're judging me based on what? The time I spend on the forum? So what am I to do while I wait for a scene to render? Stare at the progress bar?
I know I’m being a dick about my appearance and being a complete fag when I constantly complain about it, but unless you walk a mile in my shoes, you really have no right to tell me what I should do to improve my life. Those things might help you, but they’re not things I enjoy. And they're not things that would help me.
And I'm feeling depressed/sad not lonely.

Get a book to read? Hell man, its your time, spend it however you like. I just see no point in making a thread about every little detail in your life. Seriously annoying.
So many other things you can do with a computer if you don't want to read... coding for example. I was in a position similar to yours, and I learned to program a bit, and here I am, have something to do.
It just seems like such a waste to me, the stuff you're doing :/

Hah. I know it's a waste, but I have nothing else to do.
I don't play games. Seriously, my pc life sucks. I have an exam tomorrow for which I can’t really study. I’m too depressed to sleep. Only books I’ve got are the ones I’ve read.
It’s wedn night. It’s not the weekend where you don’t have to wake up early the next day.
And, you know you don't have to reply to my threads if you find them annoying. I mean, I know I'm boring and that I just post things willy-nilly and so what? You can choose to ignore what I post, or you can complain.
I don’t mind which you do.
And seriously, what's wrong with just posting crap, as long as it gets people posting, i don't see what's wrong with it.

I'm sorry, but I usually don't post in your threads. The only reason I'm posting in this one is because I am a bit bored, just got home, finished reading a book on the bus home, and finished all my homework at school.
I'm too damn tired to do crap since I just came from practice, and I have a scholarship to write and submit in 2 days, but I don't know what to write, so I'm trying to come up with something right now. I thought about writing some code to break the tedium, and eventually made a bruteforcer for something, and here it is right now, chugging away.
So, I can't really play a game, I'm tired of reading, I just need a break, here I am posting in your thread.
That and it interests me to see your reasons for why you do what you do, because I simply cannot understand you.
I'll stop bothering you now if you want...
I'm thinking about setting up a server on a shitty computer I just bought used from a friend anyway...

I'm bored and depressed and sad.
You have a lot of things to do in the day, I just sit by my monitor or two if I’m in a suite and look at endless hours of footage and play with a mouse Only free time I really have is when something is rendering or when I'm on my way home or when I'm sleeping. Or when I’m capturing media. and for some reason I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I love it!

how does that make you feel lonely? Because your beloved isnt there at the moment?
I can totally relate to that. I d prescribe a my-dying-bride listening session, the "songs of darkness, words of light" cd, especially song number 4: My Wine in Silence. Its perfect for lonely nights without a loved one 
Or is it something else? Fear that it wont work out? Self-doubts? |

KnightRider2006, this week has been hell for me. Complete hell. And, I don't have it bad, everyone has it worse than me. Everyone. I mean, my problems are tiny and I just make them seem big.
Like, I didn't plan on dating again for a few more months cause I have some unresolved issues as well as I’m in this self-image depression and I didn't want to meet someone until I look a bit somewhat better than I do now. Y'know. And things just went to hell on sunday/monday. Yeah. It’s complicated as fuck. At least in my head it is.
And it's getting worse. This week at least. i should be happy that I found someone who thinks a great deal of me, but I can't seem to understand why.
Jp, 4 year old shoes? What do you mean?

It's funny how life always keeps bringing surprises like that into a well planned future
It can be hard to have a new relationship, if your head isnt free from the last one. After my last relationship went to hell i promised myself to never have a relationship again and then along came a girl that swept me off my feet and made my life much more complicated again =)
I hope your weekend will bring some resolve and free up your head. Or better fill it with a steady torrent of hormones in your bloodstream Its better than any drug on the planet
Selfdoubts usually are the aftershock-waves of broken and perhaps unresolved relationships and it s often hard to accept em for what they are. Just a phase of breaking up and finding back to an emotional equilibrium, from where it is easier to share feelings and get into relationships again.
From what i have seen in this forum, you re a guy that isnt shallow as most guys i know, not to mention a very funny one (ah, now i mentioned it ) and not as bad looking as you think you are. So all the best for your upcoming weekend of (most likely) emotional chaos. Keep us posted on your progress =) |
