Never had any experience with it. How is it (the feeling, causes, effects etc...? I'm quite curious about it.

I have that sometimes, just plainly annoying, and it causes some problems:
I am someone who need a lot of sleep, so sometimes, when I can't get some, I'm tired at the courses. Then I go back to my place, I sleep from, lets says, 3 PM to 6PM, and boom, I can't sleep before 2AM... Get up at 7, tired all the day, sleep @ 3, etc.......
So fucking annoying

Im stressed. And when im stressed, my mind races. Physically, im tired but my mind wont allow me to sleep you know?
I lay there thinking about everything. Say I think of my exwife...i'll think of her for a bit, then say i'll think of a movie we saw together, then that will lead to me thinking about the movie, which will lead to me thinking about something from the movie and continuing the cycle...it never fuckin ends.
And im working again, I need my sleep you know?
Why do alot of us have sleeping problems? Well, i'd say most of the people here are thinkers. You have to be if you enjoy visiting a forum and reading and conversing and sharing ideas etc
Maybe everyone has alot of shit on their mind and cant put it out of their heads.
I know I cant...never been able to not think about something thats bothering me.
How come your not sleeping? Whats on your mind?

Insomnia is the most infuriating thing in the fuckin world. Your tired but you CANT sleep... Or you''ll fall asleep for 15 minutes and then wake up and being totally awake...but still tired at the same time.
Its fucked man
I wish sleeping pills werent so addictive. I hear if you take em say regularly for a week or 2, you have a good chance of gettin hooked.
Ive had sleeping pills before..but like one or 2 or a few you know? My doctor has never given me a full prescription.

Ahh yeah. Not much you can do about it. Learn to code? Then when you can't sleep start programming. Your mind will drift at about 3-4 am, and then you just slip into bed and fall asleep. Sure, 2-3 hours of sleep suck, but its better than nothing. Happened to me a couple of times and thats how I dealt with it... but it was never really a repetitive problem.

Funny you should mention that. I took up c++ a few years ago but never got that far into it...been thinking about trying to learn again. Its not difficult, just time consuming. |

Not me, my ex was a fucking heater. I bought a kingsize bed so i didnt even know she was there. heh, maybe that should have been a clue she wasnt the one. haha |
Im like that. I get really hot when i sleep. Thats why in the summer i keep my house cold and in the winter, i open my window all the way and sleep in -whatever degree weather
I have a huge, insulated sleeping bag/blanket that is good till -15C
If Im hot, I cant sleep. Thats why when I go camping, i drink myself to sleep |

I never sleep that well in a tent the first few nights. I am always listening to everything. Eventually I get so tired I start sleeping really good day 3-4.
If I am camping, I don’t usually get that hot. If anything I get kinda cold.

The one that always gets me is: I will lay in bed and if I know I am tired I always end up thinking about how amazing the whole sleep concept is, so when I feel myself nodding off I will say to myself "Wow that's so amazing".
If I sleep at all during the day (even a half hour) I won't be able to sleep till well into the night.
I truely envy people who can get a good sleep at the drop of a hat.

i had a dream last night that i got shot in the head and i died and then saw my rebirth into a new body, then i was lookin all over for a mirror to see what i looked liek and i looked the same
turned out i was immortal.
it felt so weird to die....and the rebirth was even weirder, it was like going thru a multicolored tunnel.
maybe this means im about to make a big change in life.
death to old life
birth to new. and no nobody is pregnant.

I have dreams where I die all the time. In these dreams I know I am about to die and that there is nothing I can do about it. So I just lie down in some field somewhere and wait... for the end.

Mostly I wake up before I die. Only one time I remember. My head got chopped off but I could still move around and see things, hear things, but I knew I was dead because I felt no pain. It was very peacefull. Then I think I started flying.
