Turn it off, take out the battery, unplug it from the wall... Now unscrew the laptop keyboard, take it off and mop up any remaining coffee.. at this point you can do a number of things, most of the electronics is inside the laptop (in most cases, make sure you check the keyboard first for electronics) .. you can put it in the shower, run it under a tap.. anything like that really.. but it takes time to dry. I would suggest getting some compressed air, giving it a blast with that, then using a damp cloth to clean the sticky area's then leaving it to dry..
should be fine, just don't leave it plugged in while drying!
