Hi all, Got myself a 9800XT for dirt cheap from a mate. I installed the very latest catalyst drivers from the ATI site - however they're awful. It takes AGES to load up the control center - and it makes the machine laggy and hang for periods while it's running. I was wondering if anyone had good experience with previous drivers? I am NOT interested in this overdrive feature, but i do need them to tell me the temp of the card. So, what drivers do you recommend? i'm sure they stopped adding new compatibilty and support features for the 9800xt ages ago - so any recommendations on drivers which are not bulky - but provide great performance? many thanks in advance

Get the omega drivers they are quite reliable and way better then the native drivers. "Why don't you zip it, Zipfero?" - fraich3

Is Omega still modding drivers? Damn I haven't been using ATi for a looooong time now...
