shaved my head last night, and this afternoon i wasnt even in the sun for ½ an hour and i got a fucking sunburn on my head!! the second sunburn in my whole life, and both i got on my head. winter FTW!!! Very Happy

I have a sunburn too. Here is a a picture.


This is the bit of the burn I got from the beach.


Then I went out again the next day to the swimming in the Seymour watershed .

I have never had a sun burn on the head, I have too much hair but I can imagion it really hurts. I hope the second picture doesn't happen to your head. Your head might peel. That would not be good.

It is a bad burn isn’t it? I need to work out more. I got the roundy shoulder happening.

That is terrible about the pain. Do you have an aloe plant or something.

Make sure you wear a hat when you go on your trip.

I wonder if bald people get heat stroke easier. I bet.

I went with a guy (shaved head guy that I mentioned before) kayaking and we paddled for 8 hrs in the sun and then got to Hot Springs Cove and we had to unpack and set up the tents, tarps and eat. (1.5 hrs) The hot springs are about a 40 min board walk. He sat in the springs for awhile and then left. He passed out on his way back. We found him laying in the middle of the trail. He was puking, and cramping like crazy. We were with him all night because he was so sick. Forcing him to drink water and keeping him in the right position so he wouldn't choke on his own vomit.

Everybody else was fine that day.

Well I hope it feels better. How about a wet towel wrapped around it? You could have a Turban. A wet turban with some ice in it.

It has a lot to do with where you are from and where you are located. I think you have to check your UV index to know for sure.

im a white boy and only got 2 sunburns in my whole life (both on my head). i didnt even get one when i spent 3 weeks in south france....
