Man I just went for a jog / run (yes it's 7am and i've been up all night as usual). Anyway the run was about 2 and a bit miles and was going fine until about 500 meters from my house (towards the end not after setting off ) I started to get really tired but I kept pushing myself and wasn't going to quit or take a short cut. That last 500 minutes took about 5 minutes on it's own because my arms were just dead and my stomach was locked up. Anyway I got to my front door and nearly collapsed. I lay on my bed for 10 minutes catching my breath and sweating. It's been about another 5 mins since then and i'm still coughing a bit. Sucks to be unfit .
I was impressed with my time (about 15mins) but it's useless jogging for 15 minutes if it takes me 15 minutes to recover!
I'm going to do the same tomorrow and see if I can run a bit further without dying . Maybe now I can get to sleep but I doubt it

What's this bull shit? 15 minute run? That's fucking gay. What are you? A baby? Go have run for 30-45 minutes, baby! Even unfit people get to run longer than you and get a better workout than you! Fucking baby!
Maybe you need a running partner? I know back when I used to run I had a friend to run with me. Cut back on the boredom and added fun to the 'fun run'
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

dude I pretty much went flat out though. You try running 2 miles in just over ten minutes after being a lazy fucker for a few months. It's just not easy at all. The last 500 metres were really hard though because I was so close to home, and actually it's more like 700 metres because there's a sign that says 'humps for half a mile' and my house is at the other end of the road and down a turning. So it was about 700 metres in 5 minutes which is still killer really when you're out on your feet at 6:30 am .
I'll try and do it again in 4 hours time but I'm not feeling good today I think my muscles will just give way within a few minutes.

I know but I've always been pretty fit all my life really so for me to tire so quickly is unusual. I used to run cross country and won a few things and stuff. I dont know how far it is exactly but it's around about two miles anyway. I dont think it was 5 minutes a mile because that's probably too fast for me ever but it wouldn't be 10 minutes a mile or something slow anyway. I pushed myself till I reached my goal which I was happy about I'm planning on going boxing again next week (probably the week) and just want to build up my stamina first since it's the first 10-20 minutes (running around the gym, in between heavey bags carrying people etc.) which is the killer for me. If I get through that ok then the rest of the training is fine. If I die on that then i'm fucked for the rest of it. Like the time I was sick, I just couldn't do anything and my heart was going none stop for 20 minutes I thought I was gonna have a heart attack or something.

You must of had a big pack on you too, since you were coming from an interview. You must of been in your less casual clothes too. Dress shoes, and good pant stuff. Hope you get the job |
Coming from an interview? It was 6am and I was just sat on my Pc bored and randomly decided to put some shorts, a t-shirt and a hat on and go for a jog.
edit: I've corrected the typo... why the fuck would I run from a job interview?
edit again: o and my jog today went better. I still got exhausted but I didn't just sieze up as I was on the home straight (last half a mile) so it's better. I still sweated loads and took a while to calm down though. Also I don't sweat when i'm doing exercise but when I rest / stop I pour. It's redic
